The entrance to Portsmouth harbour with an incoming Wightlink ferry and the former house of the marine artist W L Wyllie. Wyllie's house (with the green pinacle topped by a ship weather vane) bears a plaque with the words: W.L.WYLLIE, R.A., R.I., R.E. 1851 - 1931 Marine Artist lived here from 1906 until 1931 A John Hinde postcard, photography by Richard Clements. Mint condition, postally unused, and undamaged
