This bronzed effect beauty is mounted on an staggered veined marbled effect pedestal and is a splendid example of Art Deco design with its clean cut lines
This dramatically posed Turkish Dancer is sculpted after the work of French sculptress, Claire Jeanne Roberte Colinet.
Colinet who was born in Brussels but like many artists moved to work in Paris. Her works were varied, but mainly based on the ballet and dances from many different countries.
Ankara Dancer wears a revealing open top figure-hugging, costume and an ornate headcap. She stands on tiptoe on the pedastal where you can observe three symbolic cobras.
