Both compounds are quick drying and the alginate is suitable for small babies as it is used by dentists and very safe. There is enough alginate and casting powder to make one small babies hand and one foot. Just weigh out half the powders and then do one part at a time. Do not add the water until you are completely ready as drying is fast. This means that babies do not have to sit around for long as you are waiting for only a few minutes. Each kit comes in a small gift box with carry handles and an animal decoration.
