EngineCheck

EngineCheck software is one of the first low-cost PC-based diagnostic systems to be developed in the UK! We don't make any crazy claims about it supporting all cars from 1996 (as many sellers do) - we're honest in our coverage - it'll only cover those we've listed below/above. And if there is a problem connecting to a particular car, we want to know about it so we can fix it!

Car Compatibility

• ALL 2001+ petrol and 2004+ diesel UK-sold cars
• Most European petrol Ford cars with the EEC-V engine-management system - see below
• Many petrol Jaguar vehicles back to approximately 1997
• USA import cars manufactured from 1996 on (e.g. Lincoln Town Car)

We have also tested this interface on a range of pre-2001 petrol Ford vehicles and found the following to be compatible. All use Ford's EEC-V Engine Management System:

Please note that we cannot guarantee compatibility of pre-2001 vehicles as these were manufactured before the European legislation was enforced.

Additional information

This interface will read/clear codes from EOBD diagnostics systems (this covers engine, powertrain and emissions faults). It will not read/clear codes from other systems, e.g. SRS, ABS or Suspension systems.

We sell mainly through our website, but have also started selling through auction sites to help generate interest in this relatively new field and market our products to a wider audience.

Shipping Information

Products are shipped from the UK, so NO import duties or taxes when items are delivered.

We ship orders within one working day of receiving cleared Paypal or credit card payments - (Paypal eCheques tend to take one to two weeks to clear).

Orders received before 2.00 p.m. will usually be shipped same working day (Monday to Friday).

This product will be shipped either by FedEx 'Next Day' or by Royal Mail 'Special Delivery' - both services are next working day delivery services to most of the UK (please see the Royal Mail website for more information on Special Delivery). The longest delivery time is three working days for postcode areas KW16-17 and PH42-44.


Payment Information

Payments can be made by Paypal. Other payment methods are available for orders placed via the website. 

Failure to pay will result in negative feedback being left and the item being relisted.

We are a UK Limited Company and provide a VAT receipt for the product.

Returns

If you have a problem with your item, please email... the products are rarely faulty and many issues can be resolved quickly and easily.

If you wish to return an item, please contact us by email first to obtain an RMA number.

If we have stated that this tool will work with your car, either on the auction page or via email contact, and we are proved to be wrong, then we will accept the item returned for a full refund within 7 days of receipt.

Unwanted goods can be returned within 7 days of receipt provided that they are returned 'as new' (i.e. unopened and undamaged).
Please note for software sales we can only offer a refund if the software has not yet been activated online. Once software unlock codes have been sent to you we cannot offer a refund.
For combined software and hardware products such as this package, any refund will be reduced by the price of the EngineCheck Pro software (£59.95) if activation codes have been sent.

Any product returned to us must be returned with all associated items originally sent as part of the product and in the same packaging, unless otherwise agreed with Gendan Ltd.
