Queen Cleopatra
This Genuine Egyptian Papyrus depicts one of the most Famous women from Ancient Egypt – Queen Cleopatra. During her reign Egypt was once again going through a very turbulent time and the Egyptian Empire was in an unstoppable decline. She is the last true Pharaoh before Egypt came under the total dominance of Rome. Not only was she said to be a great beauty but above all else was a very clever, intelligent and political woman – she had to be to captivate two such great men as Julius Caesar and Mark Anthony and endeavor to use them to maintain her kingdom. She is said to be buried in the royal mausoleum near Alexandria after committing suicide with the aid of an Asp.
The actual Papyrus itself measures 32.5cm x 22.5cm
Whilst
The Central Painting measures 23.5cm x 19cm
Each comes with a ‘Certificate of Authenticity’ and explains briefly how each Papyrus was made using Ancient Egyptian Techniques
And
Each will be delivered in a Strong Postal tube (though until actual postage I am storing them flat)
Now for the Nitty Gritty boring (but essential) details:
Payment: Must be made within 4 days. My preferred payment methods are Google Checkout, Bacs or Paypal, however if this is not possible I will accept sterling cheques drawn on a UK bank (please check before buying) – please allow 5 working days for the payment to clear before dispatch
Non paying Bidders: If payment has not been received within the stipulated 4 days or contact not been made – the item will be relisted and a Non Paying Bidder alert filed with Tazbar
Postage: I will endeavor to ensure all items are posted within 2 days of the successful wining bid – First Class – unless the winning bidder has selected another method. I ALWAYS obtain a proof of posting
Multiple purchases: I will happily combine postage for multiple purchases – please ask, but bear in mind that this will sometimes not be possible due to the nature and size of the packaging required
Returns & Refunds: I will accept returns up to 7 days, but only for valid reasons – If you do encounter any problems or are unhappy with your purchase please contact me immediately by e-mail to let me sort out the problem amicably
Feedback: I will issue feedback once I know the item has been safely received
Foreign Buyers: The ONLY accepted methods of payment are Google Checkout or Paypal – All items will be dispatched by airmail and I will advise you of an anticipated (as stated by Royal Mail) delivery time.
