This Genuine Egyptian Papyrus is a representation of the Sacred Bark of Amun. This is not an actual Nile vessel but a very ornate large baroque used in Processional Rituals and was carried through Luxor during Religious Festivals. However some poetic license has been taken by the artist as the Central Naos should be shrouded with the statue of Amun not visible to the public.
The actual Papyrus itself measures 33cm x 24cm
Whilst
The Central Painting measures 24cm x 17cm
Each comes with a ‘Certificate of Authenticity’ and explains briefly how each Papyrus was made using Ancient Egyptian Techniques
And
Each will be delivered in a Strong Postal tube (though until actual postage I am storing them flat)
Now for the Nitty Gritty boring (but essential) details:
Payment: Must be made within 4 days. My preferred payment methods are Google Checkout, Bacs or Paypal, however if this is not possible I will accept sterling cheques drawn on a UK bank (please check before buying) – please allow 5 working days for the payment to clear before dispatch
Non paying Bidders: If payment has not been received within the stipulated 4 days or contact not been made – the item will be relisted and a Non Paying Bidder alert filed with Tazbar
Postage: I will endeavour to ensure all items are posted within 2 days of the successful wining bid – First Class – unless the winning bidder has selected another method. I ALWAYS obtain a proof of posting
Multiple purchases: I will happily combine postage for multiple purchases – please ask, but bear in mind that this will sometimes not be possible due to the nature and size of the packaging required
Returns & Refunds: I will accept returns up to 7 days, but only for valid reasons – If you do encounter any problems or are unhappy with your purchase please contact me immediately by e-mail to let me sort out the problem amicably
Feedback: I will issue feedback once I know the item has been safely received
Foreign Buyers: The ONLY accepted methods of payment are Google Checkout or Paypal – All items will be despatched by airmail and I will advise you of an anticipated delivery time
