Combined volume “C” – 300 photographs of
British locomotives and multiple units
from 1987-2007.
This CD-R is a combined volume of both disks 1 and 5 from my collection together on a single CD. The price is less than buying the two disks individually plus there is only one lot of postage to pay – you save nearly three pounds!!! The vast majority of these pictures are from the nostalgic years of 1987-1997, only fifty shots on this disk were taken after that point.
Brief summary of disk one (the red one):
- Classic diesel and electric locomotives at work on the mainline from 1987-1997.
- 19 different classes of locomotive in a wide range of different liveries.
- Over 20 different locations around the UK plus BR depot open days/special events.
- A total of 150 full colour high resolution photos in this section.
Brief summary of disk five (the orange one):
- Multiple units at work 1987-1997, plus again in 2007 to show the changing scene.
- A small selection of preserved multiple units too.
- An amazing total of 54 different classes of multiple unit represented!!!
- Over 20 different locations around the UK plus BR depot open days/special events.
- Another 150 full colour high resolution photos in this section.
Descriptions: Every photo comes with a caption stored in the “file properties” detailing the locomotive or multiple unit’s number, location and exact date. There are also MS Word and *.RTF format files containing all the captions for the whole disk so you can view/print them out too.
- All photos have been scanned directly from 35mm negatives at a super-high resolution of 2400dpi to give you the best possible image.
- All photos are approx 8.5 Megapixels in standard JPEG format.
- Locomotives and multiple units are arranged on the disk in TOPS number order.
- I use quality Memorex brand disks, NOT cheap “shop’s-own” disks. The CD comes supplied in a slim-line plastic case.
- The disk also comes with a colour sleeve and colour artwork label. This is NOT a “no-frills” item.
I have been an amateur photographer and railway enthusiast for over 20 years. All photographs on this disk are my own work using a Nikon N2000 35mm SLR camera with either 100 or 200 speed film.
I retain copyright over all images. They are for personal enjoyment and non-profit use only. The words "copyright protected" do not appear on the photos on the disk, they are here only to stop people downloading them.
