This CD-R is a combined volume of both disks 7 and 8 from my collection together on a single CD. The price is less than buying the two disks individually plus there is only one lot of postage to pay – you save nearly three pounds!!!

CONTENTS OF THIS DISK

Brief summary of disk seven (the yellow one):

34 different classes of diesel and electric locomotives, both mainline and preserved.
14 different mainline stations from Crewe all the way up to Thurso, plus lineside too.
6 different diesel gala events and preservation sites around the UK (no steam).
3 mainline railtours hauled by preserved diesels.
A total of 200 full colour high resolution photos in this section.

Brief summary of disk eight (the purple one):

23 different classes of diesel and electric multiple units – all in mainline service.
17 different mainline stations around the UK, plus ECML and WCML lineside.
Includes Virgin Voyager and Pendolino sets, plus Hull Trains too.
A wide variety of liveries both old and new.
Another 200 full colour high resolution photos in this section.

Descriptions: Every photo comes with a caption stored in the “file properties” detailing the locomotive or multiple unit’s number, it’s location and the exact date. There are also MS Word and *.RTF format files containing all the captions for the whole disk so you can view/print them out too.

FEATURES OF THIS DISK

All photos have been taken with a digital SLR camera giving a much sharper and clearer picture than scanning in from 35mm negatives or prints.

All photos are 8 Megapixels in standard JPEG format.

Locomotives and multiple units are arranged on the disk in TOPS number order.

I use quality Memorex brand disks, NOT cheap “shop’s-own” disks. The CD comes supplied in a slim-line plastic case.

The disk also comes with a colour sleeve and colour artwork label. This is NOT a “no-frills” item.

ABOUT MY DISKS

I have been an amateur photographer and railway enthusiast for over 20 years. All photographs on this disk are my own work using an Olympus E500 digital SLR camera set at 3264 x 2448 maximum resolution.

I retain copyright over all images. They are for personal enjoyment and non-profit use only. The words "copyright protected" do not appear on the photos on the disk, they are here only to stop people downloading them.
