This DVD-R is a combined volume containing all the photos from all 8 CDs in my collection together on a single disk. This is a massive 1300 high resolution colour photographs with over 2Gb worth of data. By purchasing the full set on a single disk you get a huge saving over buying all 8 disks separately - I am offering it at HALF PRICE, plus there is only one lot of postage to pay!!!
PLEASE NOTE: This is a DVD-R formatted for the UK (region 2). It should work normally in British computers or those that are multi-region. If you intend to watch it on your TV screen instead please make sure that your DVD player can read JPEG files stored in this format. (I can also make this disk for you as a "DVD+R" if required.)
- All disks numbers 1-8 as shown in the panel below: These are diesel and electric locomotives and multiple units from America, Canada, Britain and France over a 20 year period from 1987-2007. Approx. 85% of these pictures are British. There is a small section on steam hauled railtours in America, but no British steam.
- Descriptions: Every photo comes with a caption stored in the “file properties” detailing the scene, location and exact date. There are also MS Word and *.RTF format files containing all the captions for each section so you can view/print them out too.
- Sections 1-6 are photos scanned directly from 35mm negatives at a super-high resolution of 2400dpi to give you the best possible image.
- Sections 7-8 are photos taken with a digital SLR camera giving an even sharper and clearer high quality picture.
- All photos are a minimum of 8 Megapixels in standard JPEG format.
- I use quality Memorex brand disks, NOT cheap “shop’s-own” disks. The DVD comes supplied in a slim-line plastic case.
- The disk also comes with a colour sleeve and colour artwork label. This is NOT a “no-frills” item.
I have been an amateur photographer and railway enthusiast for over 20 years. All photographs on this disk are my own work using either a Nikon N2000 35mm SLR camera or an Olympus E500 digital SLR camera.
I retain copyright over all images. They are for personal enjoyment and non-profit use only. The words "copyright protected" do not appear on the photos on the disk, they are here only to stop people downloading them.
