A handmade colour picture postcard featuring a real photograph of the moment the Boeing 777-200LR "Dreamliner" touched down at London Heathrow Airport having flown the "wrong way" from Hong Kong to establish a new non-stop distance record for a commercial passenger aircraft.
The record was broken on 10th November 2005 and the reverse of the postcard confirms the details and also bears a GB 1st Class Machin definitive stamp postmarked with the special single ring c.d.s. postmark for Heathrow Airport Hounslow dated the day the record was set.
The back of the card confirms there were only 25 of these cards produced and this auction is for number 21 of 25.
