General Electric Co. (GE), one of the world’s largest and most admired companies, has launched a new digital camera range, marking its entry into the UK and European consumer electronics markets.
GE digital cameras are packed full of useful, fun features. Each camera has easy to use in camera panoramic stitching, which guides the user through creating a three- frame panorama; great for both landscapes and groups of friends. It eliminates the need for specialist computer software or hours of editing, which is perfect for people who want to share photos quickly and post them on sites like Facebook and Flickr.
The cameras will also incorporate newly developed technology for smile and blink detection, which has been built into the standard face detection feature. The top of the range model - the E1050 - will be the first compact digital to incorporate HDMI technology.

In Camera Panorama Stitching
Allows for the creation of ultra-wide panoramic shots. Wide-view photos are produced by stitching three images into a single panoramic picture, providing an image that is wider than would be possible with a standard lens.
