Setting Default Postage options
Sellers can specify default postage costs for items via Control Panel
>> My Account >> Preferences >> Selling Preferences.
In this section sellers can specify a standard postage cost for different
locations and the postage cost per additional item in case the buyer
purchases more than one item from them. Sellers can also specify a default
handling cost per item if the item is offered for collection.
EXAMPLE:
If you enter an amount for additional items, this will override the
postage settings for a multiple item purchase.
Example: If the first item postage is £4.00 and additional item postage
is £1.00.
A buyer purchases 4 of the item, the total postage will be:
1 x £4.00 + 3 x £1.00 = £7.00
NOTE: As with all Default options, these options set a default for all
future listings but do not affect existing listings. Users can amend the
defaults for individual listings at the time of listing. Users can also
