Responding to Wanted Adverts.
When you view a wanted advert you will see a button at the top center of
the screen called "Place Offer".
To offer your goods to the person who has placed the wanted advert click
this button. You will then be taken to a screen that is similar to the place
auction screen. the difference is that you are placing an offer of your item
to the person who placed the wanted advert. therefore the process is quicker
as some of the information is pre-filled (such as category). It is important
to include as much information as possible as this will help you to sell your
item.
You will be asked two questions that are specific to the wanted system.
Offer Period.
This is the exclusive period that you are giving to the person who placed
the wanted advert to purchase your offer. Only that person can buy your item
during that period.
Rollover Option.
The rollover option is unique to Tazbar. If you allow your offer to
rollover the following happens. If a wanted offer is not purchased by the
person who placed the original wanted advert during their exclusive time the
wanted offer reaches an end. In the rollove situation it then turns into a
Buy Now 7 day auction and moves to the auction section. This further helps to
justify the short time it took to place the offer.
You have the option of not allowing a roll over to occur.
Sealed Bids.
There is one added feature called sealed bids. If somebody has seen the
item you have offered but can't buy it because they are not the person who
has the exclusivity they can place a sealed bid. This sealed bid must be
equal to of higher than your offer price. If the wanted offer ends
un-purchased and rolls over to become an auction any sealed bids placed will
take preference and the item will sell instantly to the highest sealed bid.
These sealed bids are hidden to all members except for the person who placed
it. Even the seller doesn't know if a sealed bid has been placed.
Charges.
There are no charges applied to listings placed in the weanted section of
Tazbar. the only fee's that apply are final price fee's that are the same as
the auction section.
