I've just checked the DVD, it was ITV1.
& I just Googled 'Autosport Awards' & found Lewis's bit mentioned on these sites:

Not another conspiracy theory?
I didn't realise Renault were that desperate to take on Alonso
still, I think Heikki Kovalainen should make a great teammate for Lewis.
I got an excellent Christmas present this year, a picture of Lewis in Canada, not sure who the artist is?
Colin.

Looks a lot like a red Mclaren!
Who was it that got the notes from another team?
Hmmmmm.
Roll on the new season!
Lee
I second that, I think each team ought to be made to divulge all their 'secrets' (what they have, not how they acheived it) after each race so that no team can get a big advantage over the others.
That way the sport would be all about who has the best Teamwork & Driving abilities.
Good to see Lewis has signed up with Maclaren until 2012.
The 2008 Maclaren looks good as well, abit like a silver Ferrari) but I still prefer my Ferrari's in Red.
artyman:Well the new season starts today ( well it's alrready started, but I wasn't up at 3.30 am to watch qualifying Australian time ) hopefully we can see the contest on the track this year and not in the courtroom.
I'll second that artyman, I'm great fan of F1, Moto GP etc so let's look forward to an exciting season on the track
artyman: We'll settle for another result like in this painting (Canada his first win )

rather exelent painting you did i remember you sold it quickly ..you still have a couple of prints ..they should be snapped up im sure..is mrs artyman allowing you this year to stay up and watch
Well there wasn't many finished that one. The loss of traction control certainly put a new slant, or should I say slide, on the proceedings. Good start for Lewis and McLaren, the only team to have both cars finish.
Malaysia next week, wonder who will have sorted out those early teething problems
artyman:Our boy Lewis Hamilton is on pole for tomorrows Japanese Grand Prix, mrs artyman says I can't get up at 5.30am to watch it live
now artyman she told you last year you cant so im allowing as an easter gift to overirde her orders and watch it ....you did such a fantastic painting of him winning you deserve to watch live and i might just buy it this year if he does so go on spoil yourself
Yes it would appear that the Ferraris were running light, real shame about the penalty for Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen though.
I hadn't realised that they were only doing around 50mph, which is dangerously slow and therefore the stewards made the correct decision to penalise them. There is still a need for guidelines though.
Not a particularly exciting race, and apart from the start where both McLarens made progress, not much place changing apart from through the pits stops, shame about Lewis's right front sticking.
The way I read it ( just my opinion ) was the fact that they were still on the racing line whilst moving slowly and this is what upset the other drivers, and Alonso will always be looking for an opportunity to put a spanner in McLaren's works.
I saw the race this am, won't bother with the re-run, Moto GP next week
