Mrs artyman is very happy Smile first time since 1939, Harry Rednapp still had his usual hang dog expression showing little emotion unlike his players. I thought Cardiff played well and deserve credit.

The celebrations on Southsea common for the victorious Pompey team were a massive event, and only one arrest, so it shows that football doesn't have to be a source of trouble unlike the events in Manchester.

I listen to Quay Radio which always has loads of Pompey coverage.

The Pompey fans have always come across as a really 'cool' bunch - we should all be chuffed that our locals are a shining example of what being a football team supporter should be about.

I see our local paper wants Harry Rednapp made a Sir. He can do no wrong now unlike a little while ago when he left Pompey and went up the road to Debs land Stick out tongue

I guess you have forgotten about when Pompey played Southampton. Surprise  And also when did you and Ken move to Pompey Wink

And I loved the old biddy on the news who said "This is a once in a lifetime experience, which we wont see again in our lifetime"  Certainly shows the confidence she has in how Pompey will do next season. Big Smile

*guess who is sick of everyone he mets talking about football* Indifferent

I support Pompey because I hear about them all day on the radio station which is based in Portsmouth.

I know all about the Pompey/Southampton fights. I think you'll find that the troublemakers arent regular fans but gangs of thugs from all over the place who visit matches without being local supporters.

I know this because my son has worked as a doorman in the pubs in Portsmouth on those match days so he has met the 'so called' Pompey fans - they were definitely not regulars
