Sue I think you're right! Since I've been in UK [6 years this past june] I haven't needed to wear by bulky winter coat!! I needed it went I went to America in 2002... sheesh!! i don't miss the winters there at all!!

Off to a meeting this morning about our jobs, redundancy and all that. Great!

Glad it's not raining men - I havent got a brolly.
I tell Annie we know when it's been raining cats and dogs because of all the 'poodles' about
Annie has had a funny clothes buying week - she has bought 2 tee shirts, 3 different kinds of sun hats and a pink raincoat - she has also asked me to knit her a bright red hat for her birthday in September.
I've got a mega housework day today, Pending parents arrival this evening - 1st stage of the Golden Wedding celebrations
Me & my Brother are treating them to a long weekend at York Races. We have them booked in at a super duper hotel, all meals paid for in advance and then tickets to one of the stands on Saturday (so I'm fingers crossed the rain stays off) and then on Sunday they can spend the day mooching around York. Part of the deal was that we would have the dog, so Freddie is getting all excited that his best buddy is coming for a few days, poor Sash is thinking "oh no not again" and Olly is just oblivious to everything though he will perk up when they arrive.
So got to make sure everything is spick and span.
