Just noticed on another thread that Lee has had to go to France cos his father is ill.

Just like to say I hope everything is ok for them both and get well soon to Lee's dad.

I hope its ok to post this.

Hi Guys

Thank you so much for your thoughts for us all and good wishes for Peter's speedy recovery.  I am sure Lee & Peter will pop in to acknowledge them too.

Peter was taken ill quite suddenly around early May, one minute he was a day away from returning to the UK with Barbara for a family wedding the next he is in hospital

After successful surgery Peter is well and truly on the mend, although Lee is having to stop him from working too hard, Peter is a workaholic!

I haven't seen Lee for a month, he just nipped back for a week whilst I was away in Stratford-upon-Avon on a business course to look after the kids, then he flew straight back to France again, but the good news is he is coming home next week so I am really excited about that  

I also want to apologise for not posting here for ages, I do look in from time to time to see if you are all ok though

I started a new career in insurance at the beginning of February this year and before I could go out find new business I had to do a 6 month training plan and exams to get my licence.  I won't say who I work for but I will give you a clue.  They sponsor a Sunday night programme, which starts around 7.30ish I think on ITV.  I am now fully licenced and so pleased my memory didn't let me down when taking my exams, this was my worst fear, especially when you get to my age

Anyway, thank you so much again for your support it really keeps us going here.  I promise now my studying is over I won't be a stranger anymore.
